Hope is Alive!

I anticipate for myself a whole slew of emotions this Sunday, just as this last month has brought. We have celebrated and are coming to grips with Richard’s retirement. We have looked back, and we are looking forward. We had the very energetic One Worship Service, the Connection Event for Small Groups, the Youth Service, and Richard’s Retirement Party.
This Sunday is a culmination of all that. We celebrate the completion of the Revealed campaign and the impact it had on our church. We look forward towards ministry that we will participate in with a Ministry Fair. We say our goodbye’s to Richard as our Sr. Pastor.
That is alot for one service, so my encouragement for myself is the encouragement I have for our Church. Focus on the Advent theme of Hope. Hope is an assurance and expectation of things to come. We believe and expect that Christ is with us and will show up to guide us and strengthen us. Hope is Alive at New Hope!
