Sharing What God is Doing in Our Lives

How have you felt as we have done more sharing in our Small Groups and in Worship about what God is doing in our lives?  It may have been a little uncomfortable at first, or maybe its just been hard to come up with an answer to that question sometimes, but I am seeing and hearing more stories of God-sightings.  That might be, in part, due to the fact that my ears were not attuned to that kind of sharing in the past, but I think it is our church as we feel more comfortable sharing those highlights of God showing up.

Quite frankly, it is inspiring!  I think we go through life sometimes, clueless about how God might be working outside of our own lives—not to mention that it is rare if someone helps us reflect on what God is doing in our lives.  I feel that our sharing in Worship and in other venues is creating an atmosphere where we feel more safe to share.  But the best part of it all is to hear the amazing ways that God shows up and is faithful in each of our lives, how He is growing and multiplying us and people are sharing with me spontaneously.  Keep it up New Hope !  Keep looking for what God is doing and keep encouraging each other by sharing it!
