    • “GO” Ministry

    This year, our three church-wide goals are: 1) Conduct a successful pastoral search, 2) Grow more passionate about our relationship with God, and, 3) Start a “GO” Ministry that gets us out into our community with God’s love and grace.  All three initiatives are underway, and they fuel each other.

    As our passion for God and the things God cares about increases, the more spiritual fuel we have to “GO” and make a positive impact in our community.  And, as we begin to see lives changed in our community because of our ministry, the more our passion will be fueled.

    I am excited to announce that 4 leaders within New Hope have met and begun planning to kick-off our “GO” Ministry.  As your connection with God gets ever stronger and stronger during our Passionate Spirituality emphasis, I encourage you to pray for God’s blessings to be poured out through New Hope into our community by way of the “GO” Ministry.

    GO Ministry Mission

    “To demonstrate God’s love by connecting to and positively impacting our neighborhood.”

    We don't just believe in Knowing Jesus and Growing in the Holy Spirit, but that Christ saved us for a purpose. "For you are God's workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works which he prepared in advance for you to do." Ephesians 2:10.

    So as disciples, we follow Christ outside of the church and into our neighborhood to do what He did when he was on earth. That is He healed, He freed the oppressed, He brought forgiveness and grace, and preached the good news of the God's reign on earth. The GO Ministry's goal is to bless our community in Christ's name.

    Beyond our immediate community New Hope is also called to make an impact in the world at large. So every year we send people on cross-cultural mission trips, and we support three overseas missionaries. We believe that the more we reach beyond our own circles the more we live out the call of Christ's incarnational ministry.
