A Challenging, but Rewarding, Week

My hope is that we all feel challenged this week.  As we are in our last month on becoming more passionate about our relationship with God series, I feel this week is a major climax week in that endeavor. One reason is that it is Holy week.  The second reason is that we may be participating in some spiritual practices we have never done before.  We all will be stretched.  We will be participating in a fast together, we will invite people for prayers for healing during our Good Friday Service, and we will be challenged to confess sins with trusted friends and be reconciled with people we are in conflict with before we take communion during our Good Friday Service.

I believe that if we all open ourselves to the leading of God, and step out into Faith, this may not be the easiest week of our journey together, but it certainly might be one of our most rewarding, especially as we end the week with a big Celebration of the Risen Lord on Easter.  So, I encourage you all to participate, for I truly believe God will show up in big ways.
