New Hope Announces New Senior Pastor

On behalf of your Consistory, I am pleased to announce that Dr. Jim Poit has accepted our call, and will become our new Senior Pastor! Jim, his wife Linda, and three of their four children will move to Gilbert sometime this summer. Their oldest son will remain in California to attend college.
Jim has many years of exceptional service to our Lord within the RCA. Most recently, he was the Executive Pastor at the Crystal Cathedral in Orange County , California . Prior to that, he played an instrumental role in growing Third Reformed Church in Michigan , and other Churches before that.
Please join us on June 21st to meet Jim, hear him preach the Word, and celebrate the start of this new era for New Hope Community Church . We want to make this date a great welcome and celebration.
Thank you for your patience and prayers during the search process. However, please keep the prayers coming! Please pray for Linda to find a good job, and for a smooth transition for the family, as we do not have a firm date for the move at this time.
