    Faith in Action…Are You Ready?
    September 13, 20, 27 & October 4

    Join with our entire New Hope family for Faith in Action month, beginning on Sunday, September 13. During this month, we will focus on biblical compassion, service and Christ’s heart for those in need through special small groups, daily devotionals and worship services. Then, be a part of a landmark day in New Hope’s history, when on October 4, we cancel all worship services and instead go worship through service in the community.
    We will be serving through several projects, all designed to directly touch lives and reflect Christ’s love to others in our community: There’s a project for everyone, and we are shooting for 100% participation.

    Sign-up TODAY for Faith in Action small groups. Faith in Action Participant Kits, which will guide you through the small group discussion as well as daily FaithStep devotions, are available now, and are $5. Small Groups start the week of September 13.

    We are not just serving the community, but serving with the community. So please begin now to ask God which family members, friends or neighbors you should invite to join our service projects on Sunday, October 4.  Together, we can make a difference in our community!

    We don't just believe in Knowing Jesus and Growing in the Holy Spirit, but that Christ saved us for a purpose. "For you are God's workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works which he prepared in advance for you to do." Ephesians 2:10.

    So as disciples, we follow Christ outside of the church and into our neighborhood to do what He did when he was on earth. That is He healed, He freed the oppressed, He brought forgiveness and grace, and preached the good news of the God's reign on earth. The GO Ministry's goal is to bless our community in Christ's name.

    Beyond our immediate community New Hope is also called to make an impact in the world at large. So every year we send people on cross-cultural mission trips, and we support three overseas missionaries. We believe that the more we reach beyond our own circles the more we live out the call of Christ's incarnational ministry.
