Operation Christmas Child

Thank you to all who participated in the Operation Christmas Child gift boxes project. Operation Christmas Child is part of the Samaritan’s Purse Foundation, which was founded by Franklin Graham–oldest son of Billy and Ruth Graham; and, over the years, has met the needs of poor, sick, and suffering people in more than 100 countries. Our New Hope congregation was very generous, and donated enough items so that All Stars for Jesus could make 34 boxes to be shipped overseas to needy children. This gift box might possibly be the only thing these kids receive this Christmas, so how very kind of our community to step up and participate. GO Ministry Mission

“To demonstrate God’s love by connecting to and positively impacting our neighborhood.”

We don't just believe in Knowing Jesus and Growing in the Holy Spirit, but that Christ saved us for a purpose. "For you are God's workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works which he prepared in advance for you to do." Ephesians 2:10.

So as disciples, we follow Christ outside of the church and into our neighborhood to do what He did when he was on earth. That is He healed, He freed the oppressed, He brought forgiveness and grace, and preached the good news of the God's reign on earth. The GO Ministry's goal is to bless our community in Christ's name.

Beyond our immediate community New Hope is also called to make an impact in the world at large. So every year we send people on cross-cultural mission trips, and we support three overseas missionaries. We believe that the more we reach beyond our own circles the more we live out the call of Christ's incarnational ministry.

What is All Stars for Jesus?

All Stars is a community-service based children's ministry program for kids ages 4 years through 6th grade. We meet the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month September through April from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

All Stars teaches children about serving others through a service-oriented curriculum and community service projects such as making cookies for local firefighters, visiting elder care centers, making fleece blankets and other projects.
