FAITH IN ACTION SUNDAY, OCTOBER 30TH!

Once again, the church is leaving the building to go out and serve our community by performing a variety of service projects. On Sunday, October 30th, we will cancel our worship services and will go out into our neighborhoods to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Projects will benefit schools, homeowners, and non-profit organizations. We will be participating in a variety of clean-up projects that range from cleaning school library books to collecting unwanted items from homes and taking them to a container. We will also have projects at New Hope that include providing childcare for volunteers and preparing the church for Faith in Action Sunday.

After our morning of service, we will come back to New Hope for a Celebration of all that God is doing in our church, our community, and our lives!

GO Ministry Mission

“To demonstrate God’s love by connecting to and positively impacting our neighborhood.”

We don't just believe in Knowing Jesus and Growing in the Holy Spirit, but that Christ saved us for a purpose. "For you are God's workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works which he prepared in advance for you to do." Ephesians 2:10.

So as disciples, we follow Christ outside of the church and into our neighborhood to do what He did when he was on earth. That is He healed, He freed the oppressed, He brought forgiveness and grace, and preached the good news of the God's reign on earth. The GO Ministry's goal is to bless our community in Christ's name.

Beyond our immediate community New Hope is also called to make an impact in the world at large. So every year we send people on cross-cultural mission trips, and we support three overseas missionaries. We believe that the more we reach beyond our own circles the more we live out the call of Christ's incarnational ministry.
