Happy Thanksgiving from the Sawdons!

We have so much to be thankful for. We are thankful to know Christ as our Savior, who forgives us knuckle-heads and loves us unconditionally.  We are thankful for a good move to Michigan and the nice parsonage to stay in for two months.

Chris is thankful for man-time at deer camp as well as his 7-point buck that filled our freezer.

Sierra is thankful for home schooling with Mrs. Johnson and her 4 princes.  The friendship and the routine helped make this move an easy transition.  I am thankful for getting to teach the incredible story of the Pilgrim’s first thanksgiving.

We are thankful for our family and the delicious turkey dinner we shared yesterday. I thought of how the Pilgrims had lost half their family members their first winter and how they determined to “Give thanks in all circumstances”.

Joseph is thankful for the whipped cream!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
We are thankful for YOU, our partners in missions.  Thank you for all the one-time gifts this month…we bought our tickets!  We will leave from LA on January 10, arriving in Davao, Philippines on January 12.  It’s a long trip but nothing hard compared to the Pilgrim’s stormy boat ride.  We are thankful for our new monthly pledges; we have raised $755 in monthly support towards our goal of $1500.
