New Hope participates in two group mission trips a year, and also encourages individuals to take short-term mission trips as well. Short-Term mission trips help people learn how to be the gospel and share the gospel in a culture not their own. Our prayer is that we empower those we serve, but the biggest learning comes for those who serve. They are given greater tools to share the gospel in their own cultures and sub-cultures. It is just like the testimony of people who learn a foreign language. They learn their native language better.

Our Youth go on a short-term mission trip every summer. They have been to a variety of places like Native American Reservations, other American cities, and Jamaica. For many youth these trips are opportunities to grow spiritually, learn more about themselves, instill stronger values, and gain stronger friendships with other Youth.

This mission trip is scheduled during the fall school break in order to invite entire families into mission. We have been to Juarez Mexico, Mescalero Apache Reservation, and Arizona Reservation Ministry on the San Carlos reservation.

We encourage individuals to go on short-term mission trips. People who do this come back changed people both with greater cultural awareness and a deeper faith in Christ. We have had members go to Jamaica, the Sudan, Indonesia, South Africa, and Macedonia.
